That's why we created IN PROTEST, a documentary series by The 49% that puts women at the center of our storytelling.
IN PROTEST is a ten-episode journey into the heart of women's rights movements around the world, featuring courageous women who are fighting for equality, justice, and dignity in the face of oppression and violence. From Afghanistan to Argentina, from India to Ireland, we will witness the incredible power of collective action, sisterhood, and innovation.
The non-profit women-led media organization The 49% has produced the series with a commitment to authenticity, inclusivity, and social impact. Each episode is directed by a female or non-binary filmmaker with a deep connection to the story, and narrated or hosted by a celebrity/activist who shares our values and vision.
